Terms and conditions


1. Introduction

Use of this website and the services provided via it (www.venushive.com) are conditional upon you accepting the following terms and conditions. Unless otherwise specified, your acceptance of this User Agreement shall be indicated by your use of and/or registration with www.venushive.com

www.venushive.com is provided by Venus Hive Ltd at www.venushive.com, and its suppliers ("we"/"our"/"us").

These terms and conditions and our Privacy Policy, (together the "User Agreement") form our entire agreement with you in respect of non-chargeable use of www.venushive.com and supersede any prior agreement or arrangement with you in respect of www.venushive.com. If a company name is inserted in your registration request, then the User Agreement shall be between us and that company and accordingly unless the context otherwise requires, references to "you" and "your" in this User Agreement shall also be to that company. The purchase of {CompanyServices} from us is subject to our Terms and Conditions of Purchase. If there are any updates to this User Agreement or to the Terms and Conditions of Purchase, we will bring this to your attention on the home page of www.venushive.com.

2. Venus Hive is a company representing a team of carefully selected freelance hair stylists and makeup artists. Venus Hive will manage the booking process until the deposit is made. Our stylists are freelance and are not directly employed by Venus Hive. They act independently of us once the booking is made. All stylists and make up artists have their own insurance. 

3. Guide timings (Wedding day hair and makeup):
Bride: 1.5-2 hours
Bridesmaid/Mums: 1-1.5 hours 

Flower Girl: 15-20 minutes

If the designs that you require are more elaborate, e.g require lots of hair extensions/padding, heavy contouring etc and therefore require more time than suggested, this can be arranged for an additional charge per hour in addition to the prices quoted. The additional charges also apply if the client is delayed from the agreed timings given in advance of the day and require the stylist to wait or work longer. Special occasion bookings require less time to be allocated. 

4. Payment

Stylists are only confirmed once the deposit is received.  The trial payment is payable at the time of the trial. The deposit will be deducted from the final amount payable for the wedding day. The remaining balance is payable directly to your stylist 6 weeks before the wedding or 48 hours after the trial if the booking is closer to the wedding date. If you require a second trial, full trial rate will apply. 

5. The price agreed at the time of booking is final therefore any increases to our price list will not affect your agreed rate. We do not offer discounts to the published rates. 

6. Cancellation

If a client decides to cancel, the deposit is fully refundable up until 6 weeks before the wedding date or 48 hours after the trial, whichever is closest to the wedding date.

7. Changes to bookings​

Notification should be given of any changes to the booking and trial as soon as possible. This includes changes to the number of clients, location, dates and times. Changes in locations may incur further travel charges. 

8. Stylists are allocated based on the number of people in the bridal party and locations given in your initial enquiry. If the number of people or number of services are reduced, or the location changes after the booking has been made and confirmation sent, we may be required to allocate a different stylist. Further trials will be charged in full. If another stylist cannot be found, we reserve the right to cancel the booking. The deposit and any trial money if paid, will be retained.

9. Smoking whilst a make up artists and stylists is working is not permitted.


10. Stylists, coordinator and make up artists reserve the right to refuse to work if a client is rude or aggressive. In this case we reserve the right to cancel the booking.
